Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
The Intensive Care Unit often called the ICU, is specially designed to provide ongoing, intensive nursing attention for those who are seriously ill or injured or who suffer from complex health conditions. Patients may be admitted to the unit after surgery, or because of monitoring and support offered only in the intensive care unit. Admission to and transfer from the unit takes place when the physician and nurse decide that it is best for the patient to be in the intensive care unit. This makes it possible to keep a careful watch on the patient for any untoward results of surgery, changes in their condition, and to closely monitor particular medications and therapies that have been prescribed.

Dialysis
The main purpose of dialysis is to help impaired renal function. When your kidneys are damaged, they are no longer able to remove wastes and excess fluid from your bloodstream efficiently. Wastes such as nitrogen and creatinine build up in the bloodstream. If you have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD), your doctor will have these levels carefully monitored. Before dialysis, patients often felt weak and ill. Dialysis brings relief from these symptoms. This is the primary benefit of dialysis.
Peritoneal Dialysis Unit
This service is for patients who have started the life-long treatment of renal replacement therapy. This department looks after renal patients who have chosen the therapy of peritoneal dialysis and has a dedicated team of a consultant and a team of nurses.
Peritoneal Dialysis Explained
Peritoneal dialysis works by passing special fluid into the tummy. Some of the toxic chemicals in your blood pass into the fluid and, after four to six hours the fluid is drained out, toxins and all.

Pediatric
The purpose of the pediatric unit in Hayat hospital, located on the second floor of the building, is aimed at meeting the needs of all parents and their families. Services provided cover a variety of medical and surgical conditions. We give standard quality treatment for children, growth monitoring, nutritional advice best fit for each individual child, and vaccination service among other things. Surgery is available and given by well-known pediatric surgeons, and delivered with extreme efficiency. The unit also includes bright, warm and child friendly rooms for inpatients, thoughtfully decorated and equipped to be welcoming and encouraging in staying with your child while in the hospital.

This Unit is staffed with a professional and brilliant pediatric crew that provides specialist care and treatment for children and adolescents.

Urology
Urology is a part of health care that deals with diseases of the male and female urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra). It also deals with the male organs that are able to make babies (penis, testes, scrotum, prostate, etc.).
